A brown-and-turquoise color palette is one of my favorites. The designers at The Color Throwdown posted a brown and color palette in a recent challenge. I must say that this challenge inspired some beautiful cards ranging from cute bears, owls to Christmas trees and wreaths. See here for all the entries.
My two favorites were:
I can never get enough of wreath cards. How about you? Wanda’s use of several Distress inks presents a wreath that I’d love to see hanging on my front door. Read her post here for details on her design.
My other favorite card is one created by Betty Wright at The Things I Do With Paper. Even though I couldn’t find details on her card design at her website, I know that that she used Concord and 9th’s Harvest Wreath Turnabout stamp. Take a look a Betty’s website for other inspirations.
I hope you, too, enjoyed these brown and turquoise beauties. See here for another turquoise inspired card.
