Hand punch? Yep, in the days before dies and die-cutting machines, card makers would use hand punches to create negative and positive spaces in card design. Honestly, I still use punches because often they’re the right tool for the job. Susan Raihala designed this fabulous Thanksgiving Day card using a leaf punch. Read her post here for details.
Today was my first visit to Susan’s blog. But, after reading her introduction, she sounds like a woman with whom I could have a wonderful chat over a cup of coffee or stamping a card together. Another reason? She teaches English Composition and I taught 8th Grade English after my college education–a long time ago!
