Snowy pine forest can make a terrific Christmas card. You Tuber Amanda shows us how to design a Christmas card featuring a small forest of pine trees. Amanda demonstrates three techniques: stenciling; heat embossing; and, using textured paste.
Amanda uses Distress Oxides (my favorites) to stencil her trees. The three colors she uses are: Peeled Paint; Mowed Lawn; and, Black Soot. Yep, that’s right Black Soot. You’ve got to watch her video to see how to combine Black Soot on these trees.
The snowy branches are the perfect touch. Amanda uses textured paste to create a snowy effect.
The stenciled trees design can be used outside of Christmas. For example, I have a couple of male friends who have winter birthdays and I’m going to use this stencil for their 2022 birthday cards.
