Color cardstock can be the star of your card design as my winter birthday cards demonstrate. I chose 2 shades of purple and turquoise cardstock to create a festive embossed background. I die cut the sentiment on glitter cardstock and used vellum as the backer for the sentiment. The vellum acts as an anchor for the script sentiment while not obscuring the embossing.
